How to Add Category in ChatMaxima ?

A category is a class or group of things, people, or other entities that share some common quality or qualities and are classified together. For instance, in the ChatMaxima , “channel “ is a “Parent Category” that includes “Live Chat” and “Whatsapp” etc.

Here are the steps to add a category in ChatMaxima’s knowledgebase:

1. Log in to ChatMaxima and navigate to the “Knowledgebase” section.

2. Click on the “Add Category” button.

3. Fill in the details such as “Category Name”, “Category Description”, “Choose Icon”, and “Select Parent Category” in the corresponding fields.

4. In the absence of a parent category, the category created becomes a parent category. Consequently, the same aforementioned steps should be followed to create a "Sub Category."”.

5. Submit the form.

Once you have created a category, you can manage your articles by navigating to the “Manage Articles” section. To add a category to an article, simply click on the category in the right-hand side panel.
